Volunteers
We always welcome donations of food, womens' & childrens' clothing, furniture, books and any other items of use to The Shelter or the women starting new lives and homes.
Donations can be dropped off on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8am - 11pm at:
The Horticultural Society
Lady Chancellor Road
St. Ann's
Please label all packages to the attention of Jennifer Talma or Valarie Aching.
We are grateful to those who are willing to give of their time and skills to assist the residents with getting on with their lives. Look at the Profiles of Shelter Friends to learn how persons have helped The Shelter in this manner.
Financial assistance to The Shelter is greatly needed and appreciated, whether it be from personal or corporate sources. Deeds of Covenant can be arranged as the proceeds from these are used to purchase food and supplies for the residents. Bank charges for standing orders are waived for all donations over $20/month. Our account is held at Republic Bank, Park St. # 180245647001. Deposits will be accepted at any branch.
